Alarm Activity While Armed

If alarms went off at your site while it was armed, CleverAlert tells you about them the next time you open the app -- before you get to the arming controls. A panel slides up from the bottom of the Home screen headed Alarm activity while armed, listing what fired since you last disarmed.

This exists so you are never surprised: you walk in, open the app, and immediately see whether anything happened overnight instead of discovering it later on the Events tab.

What the Panel Shows​

Under the heading you get a one-line summary -- for example "12 alarms since you last disarmed. 2 are still open." -- followed by the alarms themselves.

Each row shows:

  • Snapshot -- The picture the camera caught, or a camera icon when no image was captured.
  • Alarm label -- What was detected.
  • Group name -- Which part of your site it came from. Only shown when the alarms span more than one group.
  • Open pill -- A red Open tag on any alarm that has not been closed yet.
  • Time -- How long ago it happened.

Alarms that are still open are listed first, newest first, because those are the ones that need something from you. Closed alarms follow as history. If there are more than ten, the panel shows the first ten and tells you how many more are waiting on your Events tab.

Why Closing Matters​

An alarm stays open until someone closes it. Closing one:

  • Tells your control room you have seen it.
  • Stops new pictures being added to that same alarm.

Leaving alarms open means your control room cannot tell which ones you have already dealt with, and new detections keep piling onto old alarms instead of being raised fresh.

Closing the Open Alarms​

The button at the bottom of the panel names exactly what it will do:

  • Close the open alarm / Close the N open alarms -- when something is still open.
  • Got it -- when nothing is open and the panel is purely informational.

Tapping the close button walks you through the open alarms one at a time:

  1. The panel closes and the first open alarm opens on the full Active Event screen.
  2. Review the images and detail, then close it there as you normally would -- including choosing your response colour.
  3. CleverAlert automatically opens the next open alarm.
  4. Repeat until you have worked through them all.

If you back out of an alarm without closing it, the walkthrough stops there. CleverAlert does not march you through the rest.

You can also tap any single row in the list to jump straight to that one alarm instead of walking the whole set.

Dismissing Without Acting​

Swipe the panel down, or tap outside it, to dismiss it without acknowledging anything. The alarms stay open on your Events tab and the panel appears again next time you open the app -- deliberately, so nothing gets quietly lost.

Tapping the button at the bottom (Got it or the close button) records that you have seen these specific alarms, and the panel will not show them again.

  • Active Events -- how active event cards behave on the Home screen.
  • Event List -- the full history of everything that has fired at your site.
