CleverSales overview
CleverSales is the sales rep companion app for the CleverOps CRM — an Android app (package com.clevercam.cleversales) that puts a rep's pipeline, quotes, and equipment catalog in their pocket. It isn't a separate account system: a rep signs in with the same email and password as their CleverOps account, and Forgot password on the sign-in screen sends the standard CleverOps password-reset link.
Someone without an account can make one from the sign-in screen with New to CleverSales? Create an account — see Creating an account. Below that, Are you a security company? Learn more at clevercam.co.za opens the CleverCam website.
Who gets access
Signing in only gets a rep as far as the app's waiting screen unless their account also has sales access:
- Team members need an active row on People with the Sales role granted.
- Company owners always have access automatically — there's nothing to grant.
- An account that signs in without access sees a "No sales access yet" screen instead of the app, with Check again (re-checks after a supervisor grants the role), Sign out, the clevercam.co.za link and Delete my account.
Creating an account
New to CleverSales? Create an account opens a form for First name, Last name, Email and Password (at least 6 characters). Create account signs the new account straight in.
A new account has no company behind it, so it lands on the "No sales access yet" screen. To start selling, the person gives that email address to their company, and a supervisor adds them on People with the Sales role; Check again then opens the app. If the email already has an account, the form says so and points back to sign-in and Forgot password.
Switching companies
A rep who works for more than one company isn't stuck picking one at sign-in. The active company is named under the greeting at the top of the Home tab, and on the Profile tab in the Selling for row. When the rep has sales access to more than one, both are tappable and open the same Switch company sheet.
Everything in the app is scoped to the active company — leads, quotes, customers, reminders and the pipeline figures on Home all reload the moment the sheet closes. Reps with access to a single company see the company name as a plain label, with nothing to tap.
Appearance
By default the app follows the phone's light/dark setting. The Appearance section on the Profile tab lets a rep pin the app to Light or Dark, or set it back to System. The choice is remembered on the device.
Deleting your account
The Profile tab ends in an ACCOUNT section with Delete account, and an account with no sales access has Delete my account on the "No sales access yet" screen. Both run the same deletion, which permanently removes the rep's login — the sign-in account and the personal profile — and cannot be undone.
It does not remove the rep from the company's records. The leads, quotes and subscriptions they worked stay with the company as its business record; the staff row simply stops pointing at a login, so the rep can no longer sign in and a supervisor sees them as unlinked on CleverOps People.
Two cases refuse, each with its own explanation:
- The account is still a member of CleverAlert sites. Those have to be left in the CleverAlert app first (More → Leave site on each site), then the deletion goes through.
- It is the shared demo account app-store reviewers sign in with, which is protected so the next review still has a working login.
The five tabs
CleverSales is organised around five bottom tabs:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Home | Daily overview — KPIs, quick actions, reminders due, and stale leads |
| Pipeline | The sales pipeline — see Leads on the go |
| Quotes | Sales quotes — see Quotes & catalog |
| Catalog | Read-only browse of the equipment catalog and subscription plans — see Quotes & catalog |
| Profile | Company switching, appearance (system/light/dark), account details, and deleting your account |
Home tab
Home is the rep's daily landing screen:
- A greeting at the top, followed by three KPI tiles:
- Pipeline — the value and count of open leads.
- Quoted — the value and count of open quotes.
- Won — accepted value so far this month.
- Quick actions — New lead, New quote, and Reminders, one tap from Home into each flow.
- Due today — a list of reminders due today, with a tap or check to mark one done without leaving Home.
- Onboarding — up to four running onboarding journeys, the one parked longest in its stage first, with an "N on us" badge when any are waiting on your company. Only shown when your company has the onboarding module switched on.
- Needs a touch — open leads that have gone quiet for 7 or more days with no update, so a rep can catch deals before they go cold.
- A bell icon in the top corner, with an unread badge, opening the Notifications screen.
