Account Tags
Settings → Sales & CRM → Account tags is where the customer/site tag vocabulary lives, and where you decide what the two lists open on. It appears once the CRM module is on.
For what the tags mean and how they behave on a customer or site, see Account tags.
The Tag Catalogue
The first card lists every tag this control room has.
The five built-in tags — Subscription, Ad hoc, Active account, Monitored, not billed and Billed, not monitored — each show a line saying what applies them, and are marked Built in:
- You can rename them, recolour them, and change their category. The wording your team reads is yours.
- You cannot delete them, and you cannot change what decides them. They are applied automatically and there is no assignment screen for them, because there is nothing stored to assign.
Your own tags are plain labels. For each one you set:
- Label, category (free text — it groups the tag in the pickers) and colour.
- Shows on — Customers and sites, Customers only, or Sites only.
Add one with the New tag field at the bottom. Delete one with the × on its row (you get a Delete? confirmation first); deleting a tag removes it from every customer and site that carried it.
Active Accounts
The second card carries one switch:
Open the Customers and Sites lists on active accounts only — off by default.
An account is active when it is both monitored (a hub is linked) and billed (a subscription is running). Turn this on and both lists start on that view instead of on everything.
This only chooses the starting view. The account health dropdown on each list still reaches every account, and the review line above the list still names the ones that sit on one side only — so nothing is ever permanently out of sight. Leave it off if your control room does not run hubs on every account, or the lists will open near-empty.
Under the switch, the card reports how many customers and sites currently sit on one side only, so you can see whether there is anything to clean up before turning it on.
