Site Layout
View site layout only appears when the control room has the Site Layout module on. Sites without a layout keep the existing Zones & partitions and Snapshots views unchanged — nothing is taken away.
The event page already tells you what signalled. The site layout tells you where, and that turns a list of zone numbers into a direction of travel.
Open it from View site layout in the event's actions, next to View snapshot wall and View zones & partitions.
What you are looking at
The board draws the property with every pinned device on it, coloured by what it is doing right now:

Cameras draw the cone of what they can see, so a dark corner between two cameras is visible as a gap rather than something you have to infer.
The map and the site's pictures
The buttons above the board switch between views:
- Map — satellite imagery with street names.
- One button per floorplan or drone photo the site has in CleverOps, by its name — for example Ground floor for the rooms inside, or Aerial, September for a sharper, more recent view than the satellite.
The same devices appear on every view they have been placed on. A floorplan shows the rooms a satellite image cannot. On a picture that has no scale set in CleverOps, the cones are drawn dashed and only show which way each device faces.

Moving around
- Drag the board to pan.
- Scroll, pinch, or use + and − on the board to zoom. Double-click zooms in on that spot.
- Fit all frames every pin on the map (with the site's own map pin), or shows the whole picture.
- Default view jumps back to the framing the office saved for this site.
Each view opens on the default framing saved for it in CleverOps. Where none was saved, the map opens framed on the site's map pin and the pins around it, and a picture opens showing the whole picture. A pin more than 2 km from the site's map pin is left out of that opening frame (it is almost always misplaced); it is still drawn, and Fit all still takes it in.
The path
When more than one zone has tripped, a dashed line joins them in the order they fired, on whichever view you are looking at. Three zones in a list is three facts; three zones on a plan is a route, and a route has a destination — which is usually the thing worth telling a responder.
Reading a pin
Click any pin for the detail the field recorded: its mounting height, the direction it faces, its exact coordinates and any note the technician left ("behind the aloe, ladder needed", "dog loose after dark"). Those notes are the ones worth reading to a responder on the way in.
It is read-only, deliberately
You can pan and zoom, but you cannot move a pin here. Layout is authored in CleverOps and corrected by technicians on site, so an operator part-way through an alarm cannot accidentally re-aim a camera. If something on the board is wrong, the fix is a note to the office or a job for the technician.
When a site has no layout
Most sites will not have one at first — pins get placed as technicians visit, so the sites that get visited most gain layouts first. Until a site is pinned or has a picture, the board says so and the usual zone and snapshot views carry on as before.
