What is CleverCommand?
CleverCommand is the operator-facing control room application in the CleverCam ecosystem. It runs in your browser and can also be installed as a desktop app, purpose-built for 24/7 control room environments where operators need to monitor, triage, and respond to security events in real time.
Purpose
Control room operators are the first line of response when a security event is detected. CleverCommand gives them a unified interface to handle the full event lifecycle -- from the moment a camera detects activity to the moment a response unit completes its on-site check. Instead of juggling multiple tools, operators work within a single dashboard that combines live event feeds, dispatch management, site information, and system health monitoring.
How It Works
CleverCommand connects to the CleverCam cloud platform and ensures that events appear in the operator's queue the instant they are detected by cameras on-site. The application keeps all open browser tabs synchronized, so a single live connection is shared no matter how many tabs the operator has open.

Installing as a Desktop App
CleverCommand can be installed on your computer like a traditional desktop application. When installed, it runs in its own window without browser toolbars and can be pinned to your taskbar or dock.
How to Install
- Open CleverCommand in Chrome or Edge
- Look for the install icon in the browser address bar (or open the browser menu)
- Select Install CleverCommand
- The app launches in its own window and appears in your system applications
